DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF is a specialty coffee company built with the belief that extraordinary coffee leads to an extraordinary life. The mantra began in the Swiss Alps in 2012 during founder Nick Visconti’s pro snowboard days and continues today at our Lake Tahoe headquarters. As specialty coffees grow at elevations similar to that of our roastery, all our coffees are sourced from the mountains and roasted in the mountains, resulting in unparalleled sweetness only achieved by altitude roasting.
Note: our Truckee location is not a coffee shop, it is our roastery and distribution center! We do not have "hours" but if you happen to catch us while we are there, we'd love to show you around and sell you some beans! You're also welcome to visit our Incline Village cafe open daily. We believe extraordinary coffee leads to an extraordinary life... this begins with extraordinary sourcing and ends with roasting at 6,000ft! Specialty coffee is grown in high altitudes, we source all our coffees from 4,800-9,000ft, distinguishing them as sourced from mountain people and roasted for mountain people. The elevation we roast at allows us to maintain 15% more flavor and sweetness to comparable roasts from many other roasters. Single origins, blends and a great decaf, our coffee is the perfect fuel before your next adventure.

DCDS began as a philosophy on the Swiss slopes of the Saas-Fee glacier at 12,000ft during owner/roaster Nick Visconti's pro snowboard days. Then after obsessed how embedded coffee culture was into European outdoor active lifestyle, Nick devoted himself to the specialty coffee trade in the Pacific Northwest. After 5 years of coffee and roasting tenure he and his wife, Laura Visconti, opened DCDS in Truckee, CA.
